Detail Screens
Detail screens are accessed by clicking on an individual row from a given Browser. Detail screens are used throughout the system to both view and update the detailed data for a given record.

Inputting / Editing Data
In addition to viewing the data for an record, detail screens are also used for inputting new and updating existing records.
To input a new record or update an existing record:
Type each entry in the field and use the TAB key (or left click with your mouse) to move through the form.
Click Save to save the given record.
Note
For each detail screen form, there are required and optional fields. Required fields are highlighted in bold.
Deleting Data
Detail screens also provide the capability to delete records. In areas of the system where deletes are allowed, a Delete button will also appear on the given detail screen.
In general, if a given record is not being used anywhere in the system, deletes are permanent, physical deletes. When deleting a record that is being used in the system, "soft deletes" are performed which set the current record either to "Inactive" or set a "Delete Date" on the given record.
Note
The Delete button only appears for users who have the necessary "delete" permission for the given record type.
Related Data
Detail screens may contain navigation links to related/child data.

On the Vendor detail screen shown above, the links to Representatives, Addresses, Trades, Contracts, etc. take the user to browsers under the given vendor context.
For example
Clicking "Representatives" will display a browser list of representatives for the current vendor.
Clicking "Addresses" will display a browser list of addresses for the current vendor.
Clicking "Trades" will display a browser list of trades for the current vendor.
Clicking "Contracts" will display a browser list of trades for the current vendor.
Actions
The right-hand "Actions" pane displays a list of actions that can be performed for the current detail record being viewed.
Note
The Actions pane includes common options such as Duplicate as well as other context-specific actions based on the type of record being viewed.
Reports
The right-hand "Reports" pane displays a list of reports that can be run under the context of the current record being viewed.
